dear peter, am newly connected to webb.surfing, as is manifest, but still far from steady on the board,so to speak.when i can find my email some i can’t read because it’s too wide for the screen, there’s another 3items called returned mail that i don’t understand at all.anyhow in terms of our crusade i’ve met with margaret keech twice as you know.due probabily to my communication skill in no small degree she will almost cirtianly be of no help, though idon’t think i’ve cocked it up to the extent of incurring her antagonism to the proposal.she made all the right noises up to the point i showed her what her justice and police colligues have written.thereafter her tone changed to “you’re ahead of your time michael” and such.i am as ever open to any suggestions you have as to how best to proceed but i can see no better option at present than to try getting the media interested. toward this end i have contacted radio nationals “law report” and “life matters”. the lass from “life matters” said she had furnished 2 homes from skipp dipping and promiced to ring me back to discuss a “meet the listner” recording to air on the show. then nothing.somthing similar with the law report.in desperation, i have contacted the comercial stations. a cove at chanel 10 told me of a state politician tried to walk away with his mower he had momentarily left on the footpath at a time when it was council put out day. he would not tell me his name but said he is now a minister! do we have homeless drugaddics as qld. ministers? dear peter, i request of you, if you aggree it is the best present option, to make requests of media organisations to do a story on the way i live.preferabily the radio national people above, but anyone you’ve a notion might respond will do.the cause needs momentum and i’m shure it’s already fading from margaret’s radar so it cannot be too soon. i’ve written to our new primeminister endorsing his views on homelessness in a rich country, but make the comment that arresting people for looking in bins is not a whole lot better. i note on your site your endorsement of various government proposals and reversals. he has not answered my letter, i’m wondering if you think your encouragement might lend a hand to a policy change in this respect. also is there room on your site for a parragrafh or two on the people who keep themselves from burdening charity by livingh as i do? i note you have articles on global warming and such. i’m not shure how much carbon i saved making my wife’s christmass present but it includes parts from photocoppiers, computers, and light fittings, that should have been land fill long ago. anyway thanks once again for your help so far and best wishers for you and the staff for 2008. please ring or write in preferance to this as i’m not shure i’ll get it [see above] is mise michaelcook
